Overview
What Trade is
Vitjo Trade is a research project we are building openly. It takes market data, lets you describe a strategy, and tests it honestly against history — including the periods where it would have lost money, which is the part most tools quietly skip. It is instrumentation for people who already trade and want to test their own thinking properly. It is not a signal service, it does not tell you what to buy, and it is not financial advice.

What it does
Honest back-testing
Test a strategy against historical data with realistic costs, slippage and spread included. Results that ignore those are fiction.
The bad periods too
Worst drawdown, longest losing run and time to recovery shown as prominently as the returns.
Pattern analysis
Statistical analysis over historical price data to describe what has happened before. It describes the past; it does not predict the future.
Your strategy stays yours
Strategies are stored in your account, encrypted, and never used to train anything or shared with anyone.
A record of your reasoning
Why you entered, why you exited, what you expected. The discipline most traders skip and later wish they had.
